Go to the Today page in the App Store. Tap the Profile photo or icon in the top right corner. Go to Purchased, then My Purchases if you use Family Sharing. Tap Not on this device to see only the deleted apps. Search or scroll through the list to find the relevant app. Tap the cloud icon next to an app to restore it. You can't delete it because it's built into the iOS. Check all your screens and inside all your folders. You can swipe your screens to the right to bring up spotlight search and search for 'Messages'. If the app is inside a folder, the folder name will appear to the right of the app icon. If after searching you still can't find it go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. This will restore the home screen to its original configuration but may move other apps around to do so.

Step #1. Launch the Messages app on your iOS device.
Step #2. Now, open any conversation and then tap on the Apps icon to access the apps bar.

Step #4. Next, tap on the More button.
Step #5. Up next, you should see the list of all of your installed iMessage apps. Find out the app you wish to get rid of and then swipe left on it. Then, tap on the Delete button.
Alternatively, you can quickly swipe left on the app to delete it. In the end, tap on Done at the top right corner to exit.
